The project “Gendering MINT didaktisch-digital” at the Centre for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies (ZtG), Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, invites educators and researchers to the symposium “Gender in MINT reflected in teaching and research: Approaches, Strategies, Networking” on 20 February 2026.

The event offers a space for exchanging concepts, experiences and resources that support the inclusion of gender and intersectional perspectives in MINT disciplines, and continues the work of the working group “Challenges and Strategies for Inclusion of Gender in MINT” from the Conference of Centres for Women’s and Gender Studies in the German-speaking world.

The programme brings together initiatives and projects with short contributions that highlight good practices and challenges in advancing gender and diversity inclusion in teaching and research. It includes interactive formats such as a “Gallery Walk” for networking around teaching-learning collaborations, research inclusion and community structures. The day concludes with a collective discussion to further develop ideas and strategies for future initiatives and cooperation.
