Gender-based digital violence is a growing challenge for both gender equality and academic freedom. Nina Vischer and Prof. Dr. Katherine Guertler (OTH Regensburg) present findings from the project “Digital Hate — Digital violence against female professors in contentious fields of knowledge,” examining experiences of professors working in gender, migration and climate research. The lecture also discusses institutional strategies and support structures against digital hate in academia.
