The IFiF-Impulse lecture series presents research findings from projects funded under the BMFTR initiative “Innovative Frauen im Fokus” exploring how scientific institutions and companies can make innovative women more visible in academia and beyond.

In this edition, Antonia Böttcher, Britta Kelch and Farina Koßmann (Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt) present findings from the project PSY:SICHT. The lecture offers a review of existing literature on psychological factors influencing professional visibility, followed by first insights from focus group interviews with female researchers across all career levels. Central questions include: what emotions and thought patterns promote or hinder visibility? And how can psychological factors serve as resources for greater presence in academia?

Participation is free of charge. Registration is open with no deadline and access details will be sent by email a few days before the event.
