To mark International Women’s Day on 8 March 2024, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and Wissenschaft im Dialog are hosting a debate on freedom and gender equality in science.
The event will start at 10 a.m. on site in Frankfurt am Main and via livestream at bmbf.de. Federal Research Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger, who will give the opening speech, will be joined on the panel by the Chair of the German Ethics Council, Prof Dr Alena Buyx, deep-sea researcher and Director of the Alfred Wegener Institute, Prof Dr Antje Boetius, and the President of the German Informatics Society, Christine Regitz.
Mona Ameziane will moderate the event.
