Meccanica Feminale is the winter school for female students and women from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, medical engineering, and related subject areas in STEM fields. It brings together female students and researchers from all types of engineering (in particular mechanical and electrical engineering), from universities and Fachhochschulen and Duale Hochschulen, as well as women working outside of academia in these fields. In 2023, it will take place from 21 February until 25 February.
University instructors, researchers, and female engineers working in industry are warmly invited to submit proposals for seminars, workshops, and lectures. In addition, submissions for talks at the Conference Day on 24 February 2022 are welcome. There are also slots available for posters and short presentations from female PhD students.
This year’s theme is “Medical Engineering: Opportunities and Challenges”. Submissions are sought on topics such as the following: artificial intelligence, basic lectures on CAD, working methods, and academic skills. Course ideas on other topics are also welcome.
