Closing Conference: STEM Correspondence Circle
How can we encourage young women to study STEM subjects? What are appropriate ways to help with their decision and where are the limits of our influence? These are the central questions that have been asked in the practice-oriented research project MINT-Korrespondenzzirkel (STEM Correspondence Circle). From the start of the project in October 2019 to today, 80 young women participated in the project’s digital programme and were accompanied by a mentor on their path to studying STEM. Now it’s time to take stock.
The conference encompasses one central lecture, three ‘forums’ on different areas of interest, and time for discussion. The topics for the forums can be found in the conference programme; the organisers request that you include which forum you’re interested in when registering.
