Further information
The ability to give presentations confidently is critical for a career in academia. But how do I express content in a convincing manner? How do I control my voice? How do I stand? How do I move, and how can I have fun when speaking in front of an audience? In addition to content-related competence and subject-matter knowledge, the way you deliver a talk also matters. When presenting, it is hardly ever the content that counts the most but HOW you deliver the content to the listener. That requires professional rhetorical skills. This workshop will provide an introduction to rhetoric, voice and body training, speech and training structures, stage fright, and more.
