As part of the BIH Diversity Month, learn how to design accessible and inclusive materials in this interactive workshop. You’ll explore key principles such as checking color contrasts, identifying accessible color combinations for figures, understanding how screen readers work, and organizing text and visuals on slides for visually impaired users.

The workshop will also cover resources and techniques like closed captioning for hard of hearing and deaf people.

Through a mix of theoretical input and practical exercises, you will have the opportunity to try out tools and techniques to make your presentations, visuals and figures, as well as other materials more accessible for everyone.
