Research Programme
CSB is a joint effort of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, and the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine Berlin-Buch. Our goal is the development of new theoretical concepts and their application to current and future problems in cell biology. The research of CSB is focused on reverse engineering biological networks, understanding cellular variability, unravelling adaptation mechanisms in biological networks and understanding regulation mechanisms mediated by RNA molecules and their interactions.
