This study, conducted as part of a research project at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, investigates the conditions shaping academic careers in higher education. It explores factors that support or hinder academic career paths, as well as working conditions, experiences of discrimination, physical and psychological wellbeing, and personal attitudes. An intersectional perspective and participatory principles guide the research approach. The project is funded by the Berlin University Alliance.

Participation involves a survey of approximately 35 minutes, covering personal experiences at university. Participation is voluntary, and individual questions may be skipped at any time. All data are processed anonymously and in strict accordance with data protection regulations. Only the six project team members have access to the data, which will be made available to the research community in anonymised form upon project completion.
