Why do some people seem to start conversations more easily than others? Why are some people more likely to be listened to? Why are some people convincing even though their arguments are not actually that convincing?

If two people say the same thing, it is by no means the same thing!

Nevertheless, we all have all the rhetorical tools that are important for our professional success. Sometimes we just need to discover, activate, and nurture our potential even more so that we can speak or appear even more confidently and convincingly.

This workshop will address body language, speaking techniques, language, persuasiveness, self-confidence, effective presentation and argumentation, effective handling of dominance strategies in the academic world, and quick-thinking techniques. The right way to deal with excitement or even stage fright can also help to master speaking situations that appear challenging.
