The next in-person EmoLeaders workshop will explore how emotions show up in academic teams – and what that means for how we lead, connect, and support one another.

Leadership coach Peggy Kaas will share tools for navigating group dynamics through self-awareness and dialogue. We’ll also hear from Dr. Prateep Beed on mental well-being and leadership in high-pressure institutions. Finally, Dr. Yu-Fang Yang and Dr. Shadi Bagherzadeh-Azbari will reflect on what it means to be emotionally misread and how we can lead with greater clarity and care.

This session marks EmoLeaders’s shift from monthly to bi-monthly workshops as they expand the range of voices and perspectives. With only three more events to come, now is a great time to join the EmoLeaders community—whether you’re based in Berlin, at another university, or working beyond academia.

Come meet others navigating similar challenges and help shape the conversation.
