Frontiers in Translational Medicine – Scientific and Structural Changes

Despite significant progress in diversifying student bodies, faculty diversity at U.S. universities remains a challenge. Why have many institutional efforts fallen short? In this talk, Harvard professor Frank Dobbin presents insights from studies of diversity programs at 600 colleges and universities, revealing what truly works to build more inclusive faculties. His analysis sheds light on how universities can build faculties that look more like their students, and the wider society, in terms of gender, race, and ethnicity.
