The Philosophische Fakultät offers financial support for women through three funding strands: travel and research grants, completion scholarships, and resources for gender-oriented teaching.
The first strand covers conference, research and archive travel, including travel and accommodation costs. Applications must be submitted before the trip takes place. The second strand offers scholarships to female students of the Philosophische Fakultät in the final phase of their Bachelor’s, Master’s or teaching degree, whose completion is at risk due to social or financial difficulties. The third strand provides funding for gender-oriented additions to the teaching programme, including guest lectures and relevant events or conferences.
Applications for grants and scholarships are accepted four times per year, with deadlines on 1 February, 1 May, 1 August and 1 October.
