The Mentoring Programme for Women in Science at Charité supports talented early-career female researchers in their professional and personal development. Built on three pillars — one-on-one mentoring tandems, seminars and workshops, and cross-disciplinary networking — the programme pairs mentees with experienced mentors from research, business, science administration and clinical practice over twelve months beginning in September each year.

The programme is open to women whose doctorate was completed at least three years ago and who are pursuing a further academic career or seeking leadership roles in research, teaching, clinical practice or science administration, including junior professors and junior research group leaders at Charité. Applicants may apply directly or be nominated by a Sonderforschungsbereich or research group using DFG equal opportunities funding.
