The interdisciplinary colloquium “Mutterschaften erforschen” brings together early-career and established researchers as well as interested participants to discuss and develop theoretical and empirical approaches to motherhood beyond moralising and neoliberal framings. The session on 7 July focuses on the theme of motherhood and academia, with contributions on motherhood in vulnerable relationships, role conflicts and retraditionalistion, and a systematic review of mothers in science.
The colloquium is organised in cooperation with the Netzwerk Mutterschaft und Wissenschaft and icp Berlin as part of the project FEM POWER Vision. Abstracts, the Zoom link and further information are available at fempower-lsa.de.
