An abstract and writing utensils
This workshop will address various topics surrounding calls for papers and conferences. It will include a presentation on the search for appropriate calls for papers and the abstract as a text form, a writing workshop with the opportunity to give and receive feedback, a discussion of how conferences typically run, as well as information on how to apply for funding for travel expenses and conference fees.
Please bring writing utensils and a draft of your abstract! Abstracts do not need to be perfect or final, as the goal is to work with them in the workshop.
