This workshop is aimed at international female postdocs who are interested in receiving an overview of the German research system and in developing their career strategy. However, German postdocs and international postdocs who are familiar with the German research system can also benefit from the workshop.
The first part of this workshop offers an overview of the German and EU research landscape and funding structure. Participants then analyse the strengths and weaknesses of their academic CVs and discuss career strategies and potential next steps. An individual coaching session on the second day of the workshop offers the opportunity for in-depth analysis and feedback. You can also participate in the first day only if you choose.
Dr. Martina van de Sand, senior consultant and trainer, has more than 20 years of experience in leading research management positions with a focus on internationalisation and early career researchers. She has extensive experience in strategic consulting for research institutions and research groups, evaluations and peer review, grant application trainings and career trainings for researchers.
