Every year, Informatica Feminale offers compact teachings in computing and ICT for women students of all types from universities and colleges as well as for women professionals interested in further training.
In the run-up to the 2020 summer school, the organisers are seeking proposals for classes, workshops, and lectures from professors, other university instructors, and people working in the IT field.
The main topic of Informatica Feminale 2020 will be artificial intelligence. It is asked that proposals be submitted for courses on themes like robotics; virtual, augmented, and mixed reality; smart home; self-driving vehicles; internet of things, connectivity, 5G; web and game programming; programming languages; and much more. For a full list of requested topics, see the Call for Lectures. Other relevant suggestions are also welcome.
There will also be a one-day PhD students session, for which the organisers are also seeking lecture proposals from female PhD students. Lectures on AI will be favoured.
