This conference is organised by a joint research project at the Technische Universität Darmstadt and the Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft und Kunst Holzminden, which aims to examine the experiences of female professors at institutions of higher education on the topics of recognition and marginalisation. The focus is on the organisational level, casual interactions in daily life in academic settings, the experiences of female professors with informal power games and gender politics at academic institutions. During the conference, the first results of the research of the project as well as results from other research on the topic will be presented and thoroughly discussed.
