Call for lectures

Every year, Informatica Feminale Baden-Württemberg offers compact teachings in computing and ICT for female students of all types from universities and colleges as well as for female professionals interested in further training.

In the run-up to the 2022 summer school, the organisers are seeking proposals for classes, workshops, and lectures from professors, other university instructors, and people working in the IT field.

In addition to the lectures, there will also be a session for female PhD students on Career Day (Thursday, 04.08.22). The organisers are seeking presentation submissions from female PhD students about their work (preferably on the topic of “IT and sustainability”).

The theme for 2022 is “IT and sustainability”. Course proposals on the following topics, among many others, are are sought: robotics/cobotics; virtual augmented, and mixed reality; smart home; autonomous driving; internet of things, connectivity, 5G; web and game programming; programming languages; app development; Raspberry Pi, Arduino; and much more. For a full list of requested topics, see the Call for Lectures. Other relevant suggestions are also welcome.
