The conference is intended to shed light on the topic of diversity and equal opportunities in research and academia from a specialist perspective and at the same time from the perspective of practice. In particular, research approaches and results will be presented that complement and expand – and, if necessary, revise – the contributions to the topic of diversity and equal opportunity that have been the focus of political and professional discussions to date. Thus, special attention is given to the identification of new aspects, questions and challenges as well as innovative approaches from higher education research as well as from practice.
