This online training is aimed at international academics, who are displaced people, refugees or in other ways among vulnerable groups of the AiS network as well as international scholars who are members of the Berlin University Alliance (FU Berlin, TU Berlin, HU Berlin, Charité) and scholars involved in research projects at BUA (postdocs and PhD students).
The two-day workshop will introduce common methods of digital transnational repression and highlight some of the security risks that researchers from repressive contexts may face when working in Germany and other countries. The workshop will help participants assess potential threats to their personal and information security and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
