The central women’s representatives of the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht (HWR) Berlin, the Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin, and the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) Berlin will provide information on the prospects for becoming a professor at an institution of higher education. Women’s representatives and female professors from the three institutions will highlight different paths to becoming a professor, provide information on qualification requirements, and will talk about their own experiences and career paths. In lectures and workshops (organised by discipline), there will be a concrete discussion of the obligations and freedoms involved with being a professor at a Fachhochschule as well as of the day-to-day realities of the job.
Qualified female scientists and practitioners who would like to learn more about the path to becoming a professor are warmly invited. In accordance with the mission of the women’s representatives, this event is aimed exclusively at women.
