Mentoring offers the opportunity to strategically plan the next steps of your career path and to gain first hand knowledge about other career paths in science. Participants are accompanied by an experienced mentor for one year. Throughout the year, they will gain insights into working methods and relevant research fields, as well as questions concerning the balance between work and private life. In the course of regular meetings, participants have the opportunity to sharpen their own goals, to plan upcoming decisions and discuss their implementation, and to expand their network of contacts.
The next round of mentoring begins in January 2020. Send your application to Petra Metz (petra.metz@hu-berlin.de) by October 31, 2019.
There will be an informational meeting on 15 October 2019, where you’ll have the chance to hear from a current participant in the mentoring programme and ask questions.
