The topic of this year’s Women’s Assembly at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is the question whether digitalisation has a gender. After an introduction from the president of the university, the panel discussion will get underway. This year’s experts and panel participants will be: Edna Kropp, computer scientist and speaker on behalf of Women and Computer Science Group at Gesellschaft für Informatik and team lead for “Conversational AI and Automation”. Lena Ulbricht heads the research group “Technology, Power and Domination” at the Weizenbaum Institute for Networked Society. The discussion will be moderated by Ilse Helbrecht, professor for Cultural and Social Geography at Humboldt-Universität.

All women can participate in the event. According to § 17 (5) Landesgleichstellungsgesetz and § 19 (9) of the Frauenförderrichtlinien of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, women are entitled to be released from work for the event. After the event everyone is warmly invited to spend the afternoon at a little get-together and join in the conversation.

The event will be in hybrid form. The zoom-link can be accessed via the event webpage.
