Gender Awareness and Unconscious Bias Training
Gender awareness and unconscious bias trainings can facilitate positive group interactions, reduce prejudice and discrimination, and equip individuals with the skills to sensitively address and promote gender equity and diversity in the workplace. By raising awareness, these trainings can help remove structural barriers and prevent discrimination in crucial areas such as hiring, job evaluation and social life in the office.
The DFG’s Standard Allowance for Equity and Diversity may be used to fund awareness-raining measures for all researchers involved in a project or alliance – irrespective of their gender.
