This annual conference will once again focus on developments and issues in higher education policy, in the discipline of gender studies, and in communication, as well as on concerns and debates in society as a whole. The organisers aims to promote a qualified exchange of experiences between institutions in the German-speaking area and dialogue with queer-feminist projects based outside the university. This exchange of experiences will hopefully help to get a diagnostic view on the potential and challenges presented by developments happening in academia and contribute to reflecting and advancing forms and strategies of institutionalisation. Topics addressed will include the inclusion of gender in STEM, digital implementation of gender equality in academia, and research on sexual harassment, discrimination, and violence at institutions of higher education.
