Further information
Meccanica Feminale is the “winter school” for female students and women from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, medical engineering, and related subject areas in STEM fields. It brings together female students and researchers from all types of engineering (in particular mechanical and electrical engineering), from universities and Fachhochschulen and Duale Hochschulen, as well as women working outside of academia in these fields. In 2021, it will take place from 23 February until 27 February.
University instructors, researchers, and female engineers working in industry are warmly invited to submit proposals for seminars, workshops, and lectures. In addition, submissions for talks at the Conference Day on 25 February 2021 are welcome. There are also slots available for posters and short presentations from female PhD students.
The theme of this year’s meccanica feminale will be aerospace technology. However, submissions on other topics are equally as welcome, including topics like artificial intelligence, basic lectures on CAD, working methods, and academic skills. For more information on themes and other requirements for courses, please see the call website.
