Discrimination exists in all areas of society, and everyday university life is no exception. Discrimination, for example in the form of racism, sexism, ableism or classism, can also occur here on a daily basis – and on many different levels.

Raising awareness of how discrimination functions as a structural phenomenon in and outside the university forms the basis for anti-discriminatory behaviour in everyday working life.

Based on a structural understanding of discrimination, this course looks at how discrimination can occur in everyday university life.
You will develop a vocabulary to become more confident in talking about discrimination and dare to take a look at yourself and scrutinise your own social position.
