The efas (economy feminism and science) network warmly invites all interested to a symposium that critically reflects on the position of women in the corona crisis.
The crisis has highlighted the deficits of certain economic and social-political circumstances – in particular, the way that care is organised in our society. It shows the extent to which traditional gender arrangements still play a large role. At the same time, the increased visibility of these issues creates the chance for positive change. At this symposium, recent insights from research on these topics will be presented and discussed.
Additionally, the efas Prize for Young Scholars will be awarded at the symposium, and there will be opportunities for networking.
