Internationalisation and equal opportunities are central issues in strategic HR development at German institutions of higher education and research institutes: Remaining competitive internationally, exchanging and working together with relevant research institutions across borders, the worldwide enticement of high potentials, and supporting diversity are key concerns.
This barcamp questions current measures for internationalisation at German research institutions based on the opportunities and risks they present. Expect open discussions about the application of concepts such as internationalisation, recruitment and headhunting in academia as well as reflections about measures aimed at different career levels. In conversation with women’s and equal opportunities representatives as well as experts in HR development from universities and research institutes, participants will develop proposals and ideas for fair HR development in our institutions.
