The goal of this workshop is to bring together women from social sciences and STEM who are interested in Big Data and digitisation research to discuss their work and to talk about career challenges and possible solutions. The organisers strive to exchange research and career insights across disciplines, to celebrate and support each other.

This all-women workshop cuts across disciplines. It brings together international scholars working on and interested in Big Data and digitisation research for talks, discussions, informal exchange and networking. This year the organisers aim to discuss Big Data topics in the areas of health, privacy, online hate speech, disinformation, algorithms, inequality, and gaming, both from a technical and a social science points of view. The workshop brings together leading women from science, technology, engineering, mathematics and social sciences to exchange knowledge and ideas, to enable collaborations and to strengthen informal networks.
