Further information
For the 47th time, women scientists and technicians will meet for a nationwide conference, which will be held this year in cooperation with LIFE e.V.’s Ökothek project.
The focus will be on feminist perspectives on the global and local challenges of climate change:
What is the global impact of the climate crisis and how are women particularly affected by it?
Which developments in science, technology, society and education can contribute to mitigating the climate crisis and which ones need to be critically questioned?
How can the necessary transformation be advanced in a gender- and opportunity-responsive manner?
Which adaptation measures help to cope with the climate crisis and how do women have to be considered in particular?
The conference offers space to learn more about these and similar questions and to discuss them among women and together with experts. The weekend will lectures, workshops, film screenings and excursions.
