We see the world through “subjective glasses”, and we’re not always aware that we’re wearing glasses or of how they work. People differ in age, gender, ethnicity, social background, language, place of residence, and much more. In order to act justly in the face of these differences, we need the courage to recognise our own subjective point of view for what it is.

What is meant by diversity sensitivity? How do misunderstandings, stereotypes, and prejudices develop? How relevant is socialisation? In this professional training course, potential approaches will be pointed out, using the above-mentioned questions and concrete situations from teaching.

The course is aimed at instructors from all disciplines, and the online seminar will be led interactively.
