In recent years, the term empowerment has appeared in a variety of contexts. What does the term mean? Why is it important? And what can you achieve with empowerment, for yourself, but also for others? In this workshop participants will be guided on a journey, the journey from their own recognition of discrimination to self-empowerment and the empowerment of whole communities. Especially for trans*, inter*, and non-binary people, who are often affected by discrimination, it is important to find strategies for how to move from these kinds of negative experiences to self-empowerment – and subsequently maybe even support your community to find and use this empowerment together.
