You’re interested in gender-sensitive teaching? You want to deepen your knowledge of topics surrounding women in STEM subjects? You want to be mindful of gender in your own teaching? Then this free workshop is right for you!

Prof. Dr. Helene Götschel teaches and researches “Gender and STEM” at the Hochschule Hannover in the department of mechanical engineering and will present her expert knowledge as well as her own experiences in the teaching of physics.

The workshop will cover the following topics, which can be adapted based on participants’ interests and prior knowledge: Gender Basics, Gender as a Relevant Category, Reflection on Implementation in One’s Own Teaching, Current Research Findings on Gender and STEM, Support and Suggestions.
