Soapbox Science is an annual public science communication event that promotes the role of women* in science by turning public areas into spaces for interactive learning and scientific debate. It aims to increase the visibility of women* in science and give female* scientists the chance to present their work to a broad audience. The events take place in public areas so that everyone has the opportunity to learn and participate. Soapbox Science happens in cities all over the world.
Come to Washingtonplatz at Berlin Central Station to hear female* scientists present their work directly to the public – mediated only by the soapbox they’re standing on!
