What’s the big deal about unconscious bias? Why does it matter? And how can we get better at spotting it, stopping it if we see it happening, or limiting its impact?

Join Kim Mason for the “WAGES” workshop activity, which uses the interactive format of a board game to help participants of all career levels to better understand some of the less obvious challenges that individuals may encounter along the academic STEM career path. Insights discovered through game play, especially those pertaining to gender, are shared, consolidated and expanded in a moderated post-game discussion.
