The online tutorial “Gender-sensitive appointment procedures and personnel selection at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU)” is an one-hour StudOn-based online course designed to raise awareness of (unconscious) gender biases and their influence on personnel decisions. It introduces various aspects of gender-sensitive appointment procedures and is intended to provide support in dealing with the topic in a detailed and informed manner. The tutorial is intended to encourage make hiring processes more transparent and gender-sensitive.

The course is primarily aimed at members of appointment committees and managers at FAU. However, it can also be used by all interested parties, including those external to the FAU.

Participants without StudOn access can register as a guest for the online tutorial in StudOn here.  Your guest access will then be valid for 24 hours. You will be entered directly into the course “Gendersensible Berufungsverfahren und Personalauswahl an der FAU”. The course will be on your StudOn desk. Alternatively, after successful registration in the system, you can also reach the course via this link.
