Each year the German Federal Statistical Office (Statistisches Bundesamt) releases a report on the numbers surrounding employment at German institutions of higher education. Half of the report is typically devoted to a report on female employment, with detailed tables for each federal state.
The most recent report is available for the year 2021 and can be viewed here.
Previous years
Reports going back to the year 2003 are also available online, both as preliminary results and in their final version.
