The lecture series “FEMPOWER Part IV. Introducing Gender” addresses academic cultures, the particularities of individual disciplines, and the effect of gender: What influence does gender and gender research have on individual disciplines? What effect does the culture of different fields have on students’ choice of fields? How can gender be integrated into the academic disciplines and, furthermore, into teaching? What resistances and potentials exist?
These and other questions will be discussed in this series of eight lectures, in which the role of gender will be explored in connection with specific subject areas.
