Parenting in the Pandemic

If you’re a parent and found yourself overwhelmed trying to balance research with childcare during the pandemic, you’re not alone! In this webcast produced by Nature, three researchers talk about their experiences parenting during the pandemic and share their advice for striking a good balance.

The webcast features: Anne-Laure Mahul Mellier, a neurobiologist at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne who was pulled between Zoom calls and her children; Antica Culina, a single parent and postdoctoral researcher at the Netherlands Institute of Ecology in Wageningen; and Jeremy Grabbe, a psychologist at the State University of New York Plattsburgh who used science to ease his children’s anxiety about the pandemic.

You can listen to their stories here on the Nature website.
